The Euro-Ortofrutticola Agricultural Cooperative of Trigno with the need to concentrate the various activities; in a single area, for the purpose of logistic - managerial improvement of the company, as well as for the will of the current directors to invest in the wine sector both in quantitative and qualitative terms, has invested in the construction of the new wine cellar by transferring this activity, carried out in the past in the urban center of the city of San Salvo, at the main office in the industrial area of Piana Sant ’ Angelo.
We took the opportunity with the project to interpret the intentions expressed by the client in order to obtain a “ product ” high functionality industrial; and that could architecturally interpret all the objectives of production, marketing and image of the wine product.
The culture of wine and its production have been addressed with an innovative approach.
The production process, from the conferment of the raw material to its conservation, represents the heart of the design setting that is combined with the representativeness; and in the promotion of the company and its products.
The design of the systems and their sustainability; environmental control, the control of the internal microclimate and the containment of energy consumption of the entire work were basic aspects in the drafting of the project.
A special attention was placed in the image of the cellar, expressed with simple and recognizable volumes, capable of communicating high professionalism; of the winemaking workers and the high quality of products.
